Cat and Pat were referred to me by a past client whose upstate NY wedding I had DJed the year before. We met at a midtown Manhattan bar. I answered the questions they had and we got to know each other. I was really happy to see them again on their wedding day. We celebrated all night and had a great time.

Venue
Brandywine Manor House is a wedding venue that was built in 1740. It is located in Chester County, Pennsylvania. It is on a large 85-acre estate. They have four different outdoor ceremony sites with grass, a large pond, a terrace, etc.
They have two reception rooms. A barn and a ballroom. Pat and Cat got married in the barn. It has a large entry room where we had the dance party. Walk through that room and you will enter a giant room for dinner. Everything is made out of wood and there are decorative ladders throughout.
Dinner
Pat and Cat didn't need me for ceremony or cocktail hour so I started the night at their reception. I played light indie rock as guests found their seats. They had a large wedding party and I introduced them to Flo-Rida's "Wild Ones," Once the last couple had entered the room, I announced Cat and Pat to "This is What You Came For" by Calvin Harris and Rihanna. Great choice. Once they made it to the dance floor they started their first dance to Leon Bridges' "Coming Home."
As guests ate their salads, we started speeches. There were two pairs who did speeches. With both pairs, as one of them gave their speech, the other one stood on their side. There were two guys and two girls. While all of the speeches were good, there was one guy who was hilarious. I was laughing and crying the whole time.
Dance Set
After guests had finished their entree, we headed into the adjacent entry room for dancing. We kicked off the dance set with parent dances. Cat danced with her dad to "Lullabye" by Billy Joel and Pat danced with his mom to Van Morrison's version of "Have I Told You Lately." After they were done, I turned up the music and everyone danced for at least 2 hours straight.
We decided on a mix of pop, throwback hip-hop/R&B, and latin tunes. For the latin music, we played salsa and reggaeton. Their guests loved the music and there was never a lull on the dance floor. They kept it packed the whole time. For the first song they chose "September" by Earth Wind and Fire. And for the last song, they chose "Shout." Everyone really went crazy for that.
Thank You Catherine and Patrick for letting be DJ your
